About the Role:

The My Code Sale team believes in delivering comprehensive solutions and innovative strategies to our clients. A team of revenue professionals with creative problem-solving abilities, the sales organization drives our mission to create a future for media and advertising where everyone is authentically represented each day.   

Serving as a trusted advisor, the Senior Vice President of Sales will play an integral role in the growth and success of My Code, our sales team, our clients, and our partners. As a critical member of our leadership team, we are looking for a strategic leader with a proven record of building and growing sales teams and client relationships and coordinating with multiple teams to achieve growth objectives.

Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer, your role will be a strategic partner to the CRO to design growth strategies, as well as lead our sales leadership and team through our next phases of growth. In addition you’ll support agencies and our clients in building meaningful relationships with My Code partners to drive successful media programs for their organizations. The ideal candidate is a transformative leader with a demonstrated strong track record of team revenue and sales team growth. 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Managing, Coaching, and Leading our sales VP’s and sales team.  
  • Responsible for sales and revenue as well as deepening the relationships of our existing clients through a consultative sales approach.
  • Build and manage full sales cycle to exceed quarterly goals for new business.
  • Understand, demonstrate, and present My Code’s product offerings, solutions, and services to prospective clients to help grow our portfolio of advertising partners.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and develop fiscal year revenue budgets reflective of overall My Code goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, promoting understanding and cooperation.
  • Maintain constant awareness of market conditions, competitive changes, emerging categories, and revenue opportunities and adjust operational plans as needed.
  • Prepare and present weekly and/or quarterly department summaries, delivering insightful analytics and directional guidance.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate sales managers and executives to achieve a positive, inclusive culture that delivers maximum results and job satisfaction.
  • Responsible for tracking all sales activities, including accounts, contacts, new leads, and opportunities via our CRM (Salesforce) and enforcing compliance across the team
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key decision-makers, advertising agencies, and direct clients.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and travel as needed.
  • Extensive client direct relationships and proven ability to drive large scale enterprise deals through relationships. 

Key Projects:

During your first 90 days, you will meet with key accounts and help manage the multi-year strategic sales and revenue growth planning process. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and background in media sales with a strong emphasis on digital/online media.
  • Quantifiable, proven track record of sales success.
  • Strong senior-level agency/brand contacts.
  • Proven track record of sales success and comfortable selling 5-7 figure deals. Extra plus if you have built your book of business from scratch.
  • 10+ years of successful digital media sales experience (5+ as a sales leader) and demonstrated success in working with agencies and brands in relation to advertising sales.
  • Detail-oriented, strong work ethic, and time management skills.
  • Strategic mindset, analytical sales skills, and strong business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Google Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Communicate comfortably with stakeholders internally and externally at all levels.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $225,000- $250,000 + commission. The salary and bonus structure is determined on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
