Job Summary

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to drive the Narrative and Change Management for the broader GTM Strategy and the Chief Commercial Officer organization.  

The Chief Commercial Office is a cross-functional team within the GTM organization that tackles key challenges facing our customers, partners, and go-to-market teams by identifying and addressing opportunities and threats to NetApp’s business with the primary outcome ensuring the effective long-term growth of revenue and profits.   

This leader will be responsible for creating and delivering impactful narrative and change strategies that support broader GTM organizational change, transformation and ultimately growth for NetApp.  The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and regions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a broader organization strategic change plan and change story that aligns with the company’s global sales objectives and business goals, to ensure consistency in how we talk about the strategy, implementation, and future state across all forums
  • Work closely with CCO leadership to develop change management strategies for critical initiatives, ensuring cohesive communication across all projects directed at the sales organization
  • Collaborate with GTM Strategy leaders, sales leaders, and other key stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and alignment at marquee events such as the annual sales kick off and on more frequent touchpoints with the field
  • Ensure the effective use of various platforms, including digital, social media, and traditional channels, to reach global audiences
  • Monitor and measure the impact of change programs and initiatives, using data-driven insights to continuously improve strategies and tactics
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives within the CCO, and within GTM as a key change partner
  • Foster a culture of open and transparent communication within the sales team and across the organization with regards to change narrative to ensure full feedback loops throughout the implementation of any changes
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in change management, communications, sales, and global business to ensure the company’s communications strategies remain innovative and effective.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in change management, strategic communications, or a related field, with a focus on global sales.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful change strategies and change narratives

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior executives, sales leaders, and other stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to travel as needed to support global sales initiatives and events

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Business Administration preferred, master’s degree highly preferred and a minimum of 12 years relevant experience.

    Compensation:
    The target salary range for this position is167,000 – 235,000 USD . The salary offered will be determined by the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
