ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The SAP NS2 Cloud Business Analyst is a member of the Product Strategy team who collaborates with SAP NS2 Solution Managers to help guide the evolution of our solution portfolio and supports the greater SAP NS2 go-to-market strategy for our most important SAP solutions. This includes contributing to efforts to adopt new solutions, business continuity services, and new capabilities like AI. 

 

The Cloud Business Analyst possesses a base-level knowledge of SAP and partner software solutions. This role contributes to bringing new solutions to market and supporting the launch and sales strategy of the new product and solutions.

 

A Cloud Business Analyst collaborates with the SAP and SAP NS2 sales teams, operations, architecture, engineering, pre-sales, marketing, customer success, and prospective and existing customers through supporting meetings, solution presentations, and follow-up discussions. The primary role of the Cloud Business Analyst is to help develop and support the SAP NS2 Cloud offerings across the different operational lines which include product rollout, contracts, sales, and pricing. This involves understanding customer needs for driving change into the offering, commercializing innovation, and designing presentations and white papers, contributing to the greater sales strategies. In addition to offering support, a Cloud business analyst collaborates with the SAP global product/solution management to plan and execute business development strategies.

 

This is a fast-paced environment and a nimble, results-oriented team who is looking for someone that is detail oriented and brings a positive attitude, ready to embrace the opportunity to work on high-profile projects.

 

Portfolio Management:  

  • Bringing new innovation to the forefront for our account teams and customers. This includes leading efforts to understand the new offering, how it is built, deployed, and maintained.
  • Personalization of sales content to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing, and compelling customer presentation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of SAP solutions and Regulated Industries and maintain credibility with prospective stakeholders.
  • Support white papers and content creation in support of customer needs.
  • Ability to effectively present to stakeholders “remotely” using virtual technologies.
  • Effectively leverage additional teams who are there to support advisor’s success (partners, marketing, contracts and product management). 

 

Demand Generation:

  • Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely.
  • Compose and deliver sales presentations covering the cloud portfolio and other NS2 related offerings.  These presentations will be primarily to the internal sales teams and presales teams in the field.  The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences. 

 

Operational activities: 

  • Review and update contracts supporting the cloud offerings.
  • Review and update cloud offering descriptions, commercialization updates and any major changes to existing cloud offerings to supporting documents.
  • Develop pricing and revenue models to accelerate the sales cycle.

 

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Microsoft application (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) skills
  • Willing to take responsibility and to learn with a “Get-it-done” attitude, detail-oriented and highly organized to multitask
  • Goal-focused, team player with the ability to work in a cross-functional, an environment that always changes

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement (GPA: 3.3+)
  • 4+ years of presales or sales / consulting / marketing experience
  • Good to have: Experience or exposure in Public Sector business
  • Good to have: Experience in sales and sales processes (RFx responses/Sales strategy and execution, etc.)

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 116400 – 197900(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
