About the Opportunity:
The New Business Sales Executive is highly focused on creating new business opportunities within the small and mid-size business segment. The ideal candidate will be a driven, results-oriented individual with a knack for understanding competitive landscapes and developing targeted customer acquisition strategies. This role is essential for driving the company’s growth by proactively identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities.
The day to day:

Actively hunt for new business opportunities within assigned market segments, leveraging prospect lists and targeting strategies.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of early-stage leads, guiding them through the sales funnel towards a successful close.

Conduct in-depth research to gather intelligence on market trends and competitors, utilizing insights to inform customer targeting strategies.

Work in tandem with sales management to develop and refine a customer acquisition plan that aligns with company objectives and market opportunities.

Drive the sales process from initial contact to closing, taking ownership of all completion activities, including order fulfillment and post-sale support.

Utilize sales tools and methodologies effectively to manage customer and opportunity data, ensuring systematic and strategic sales approaches.

Ensure the successful adoption of products and services by new accounts, identifying further expansion opportunities before transitioning the account to a Client Partner.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Self-motivated and driven, with a consistent track record in sales and new business development

Demonstrated success in developing customer targeting strategies and converting leads into sales.

Experience in managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with potential customers.

Highly organized with a proven ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously without compromising attention to detail.

3-5 years of experience in a sales role, with a focus on new business acquisition, preferably within the mid-market or SMB sectors.

Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM systems, with Salesforce experience being highly valued.
