The Role at a Glance

The Senior Representative, Regional Sales oversees all sales-related activities for Brother Industrial Printing products, including Direct to Garment, Direct to Film, and Direct to Embroidery, within an assigned territory. The roles supports and motivates Brother Distributors to achieve sales objectives, aligning with the strategies set by the Regional Sales Manager and Senior National Sales Manager. Additionally, the Senior Representative updates the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool with all sales-related activities and maintains a pipeline in the CRM tool that will achieve the annual sales goals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
 

Sales Activities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives as defined

by the Senior Manager or Manager, Regional Sales, in the designated Territory within the specified region.

• Generate sales leads by cold calling, hosting open houses, attending trade shows, and scheduling appointments with channel partners

• Identify target accounts during phases of the sales process and move them to the next level of sales opportunity in the Salesforce CRM system

• Partner, build relationships and support dealer(s) in the sales territory to sell Brother solutions

• Produce accurate monthly sales forecast for the territory

• Plan and lead product seminars to share the benefits of Industrial Printing products with current and potential customers

• Fully unitize corporate Salesforce CRM tool for Territory Management

Market Activity

• Act as liaison between distributors, end-user customers, and Brother internal departments for sales and service issues

• Identify and report on new ideas around tools, policy, and procedures

• Develop knowledge of competitor’s products to stay abreast of like models and services

Key Experience & Qualifications
 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration , or Marketing – Preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or technical sales support role in the direct-to-garment printing industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience dealing with customers, channel partners, and dealers on the phone and face to face in a sales, marketing or technical position

Software/Technical Skills

  • SAP Suite, C4C CRM
  • Salesforce

Compensation & Schedule for This Role

#LI-Remote

This role requires up to 70% travel

  • The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $ 70,000.00 – $ 80,000.00  per year
  • Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
  • This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives

About Where We Work 

 

Brother’s corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet – equivalent to 26 football fields – and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA. Additionally, our outside sales teams work remotely within their territories, staying geographically close to the accounts they support to ensure they are always “at your side” for our customers.
