The Senior Manager, Regional Sales, LAC Retail, eCommerce BMG increases presence and Sales in Retailers and eCommerce websites in the Latin America & Caribbean territories, including but not limited to Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador, with a focus on channel management and expansion, and long-term penetration of consumer segments in Printing, Scanning and Labeling products. This position has direct reports, as well as works collaboratively with other internal groups including but not limited to: Marketing team, Sales Operations, Product Managers, Finance, HR and Legal, to develop strategies, provide ongoing feedback and make recommendations that are developed to not only achieve, but exceed sales and budget goals, drive and maintain growth and gain critical market share.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
***

 

Sales Management

  • Develop and implement distinct strategic growth plans for the different channel partners in the region such as Exporters, in country Distributors, Retailers, eCommerce, retail Resellers and others
  • Develop plans to acquire new high-quality partners and customers to achieve a network expansion and footprint in each country that allows for a thorough market coverage
  • Manage a large volume of product placements, promotions, advertisements and other programs, ensuring business goals are met or exceeded
  • Work with customers’ and their eCommerce websites to ensure Brother products are represented and marketed appropriately; identify opportunities to enhance Brother’s online presence through a variety of formats
  • Establish sales targets inside and out (Channel partners and Internal)
  • Implement a solid Account Management program that allows the Sales team to drive each account and achieve targets
  • Manage relationships with Principals, Owners, and Key Decision Makers
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide a high-level of customer service for all requests, inquiries, and programs
  • Prospect for new business, recognizing opportunities within accounts that could lead to new product or category placements

Coaching and Mentoring

  • Develop a team that exemplifies the Brother Culture, demonstrating Accountability, Boldness, Excellence and Authenticity
  • Create Value in the eye of the Customer
  • Work closely with Direct Reports to execute on existing business, as well as drive new business
  • Identify and provide sales tools, both in technology and areas of business
  • Ensure company policies and divisional procedures are met

Program Development / Promotional Planning

  • Grow sales by identifying stretch goals, measuring profit & outcome
  • Understand the needs of the customer and consumer segments, linking them to Brother capabilities/advantages
  • Design and implement Retail and Consumer programs such as Volume Rebates, Market Development Funds (MDF), Consumer Rebates, Sell out Promotions, coordinating with Marketing function
  • Manage promotional processes, including but not limited to promo forms, promo forecasts, communications with the customer’s team, promo implementation, and promo verification
  • Ensure promotional activity is in alignment with company goals

Forecasting/Supply Chain Management

  • Work closely with direct reports and Sales Operations to maintain accurate product forecasts. Have a clear understanding and management of POS and Inventory flows in each stage of the Value chain

ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
***

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or similar field – Required

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years experience in Sales Management experience in the Consumer Products/Appliances/Electronics/Technology market in Latin America, in a Manufacturer, Retailer, or other Retail / eComm market player.
  • Minimum 4 years experience managing key accounts within a B2C Sales environment, preferably within the Consumer Electronics industry

  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets within a direct selling organization and/or indirect operation
  • Ability to quickly assess and define a customer’s business needs. Identify processes, competitive issues, pressures, and vendor partnerships

  • Self-starter, innovative, growth oriented. Positive, high-energy leader.

  • The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000 per year
  • Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
  • This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives
