What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Sales Support- West Market Unit
Location: Tempe, Arizona (Hybrid)
Expected start date: July 2024
Schedule: Part Time (20 HR/week)
SAP is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team. As a Sales Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the enterprise software industry, working closely with seasoned sales professionals. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:

Support Sales Team: Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies, including market research, lead generation, and qualification.

Customer Engagement: Participate in customer meetings and presentations to understand client needs and demonstrate SAP's solutions.

Sales Operations: Aid in managing sales pipelines, tracking sales activities, and preparing sales reports and forecasts.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product management, and customer support to ensure seamless customer experiences.

Learning and Development: Engage in training sessions and workshops to gain a deeper understanding of SAP's products, sales methodologies, and industry trends.

Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties to support the sales team, including data entry, documentation, and scheduling meetings.

Qualifications:

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.

Analytical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and able to analyze data to support sales decisions.

Motivation: Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn with a passion for sales and technology.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 18-44 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
