What you’ll do:
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern – Global Industry Community Hub Program
Location: Newtown Square, PA
Expected start date: July 2024
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Full-time or Part-time: 40 hours/week
In this role, you’ll:
Become an integral member of the Global Industry Community Hub Program Team. You will engage with Community Hub Leadership Teams and will be expected to deliver all assigned work on time and at or above quality expectations. More specifically you will:

Work closely with your assigned Hub Leadership team to answer their questions and deliver against their requested tasks. This can consist of design & build assignments for their online communities and other online platforms, conducting and reporting on results of audits other unique research assignments as requested.

Perform routine maintenance of the Hub Community Online Communities that are assigned to you in accordance with a defined program, processes, and cadence.

Assist with preparation of quarterly and yearly reporting at the Hub Community Program Level.

Assist with the development and redesign of Hub Work Zone groups as needed.

Attend workshops and meetings as requested, take, and formalize notes and/or presentations for distribution to management and project teams.

Be involved in projects, initiatives, and content development associated with supporting our industry communities. (Eg. Experience Packages, GROW/RISE/AI initiatives, Industry GTM Playbooks, etc)

Engage with the IBU and other teams focused on industries to collaborate on activities and initiatives

Educational Requirements:

BS or Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Technology, or related area of study
Necessary/Desired Qualifications for the role include:

Enrolled in an academic program (such as BS or Master’s degree in Business, Communications, Technology, or related area of study) or recent graduate

Solid business and technical aptitudes
-
Excellent organizational skills; must be able to manage and execute multiple tasks / projects simultaneously

Professional persona; must be confident in all phases of the work you do

Strong communications skills, oral and written and solid interpersonal skills; being comfortable when with speaking with colleagues and managers.

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop tools: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.

Familiarity of social business practices and tools: Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.

Knowledge of HTML and Sharepoint and the use of an HTML editor (i.e., Microsoft FrontPage) is a plus

Previous project management work also a plus

The Global Industry Community Hub Program Team manages a portfolio of 25 Global Industry Communities organized by how we go to market. The resulting work to support our Industry Hub Communities is dynamic, fast-paced, and hands-on. If you like to get your hands dirty working on a variety of tasks that range from reporting and audits to research reporting to design & build projects (NO software development in scope) with colleagues from across the Globe, this opportunity is for you.
The Hub Communities play a critical role in enabling SAP’s customer-facing colleagues to easily obtain the latest relevant product information, enablement, digital and demo assets, and best practices and experiential knowledge. As an intern with the Global Industry Community Hub Program, the work you do – building, maintaining, researching, reporting – to support your assigned Hub Communities will ensure that the online community and related sites that provide this information are simple, easy to navigate and up to date.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15 – 62 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms.
