Join NetApp’s largest cloud business unit that sells both Azure NetApp Files and Cloud Volume ONTAP through the Microsoft ecosystem. Leverage both the Microsoft Azure and NetApp’s field sales teams to achieve your revenue and pipeline goals. As NetApp continues its move to the cloud, you will be leading that initiative and executing our strategic cloud GTM motion for one of our largest regions.
Job Summary
Join NetApp’s largest cloud business unit that sells both Azure NetApp Files and Cloud Volume ONTAP thought the Microsoft GTM machine. Leverage the Microsoft Azure field sales team and NetApp’s field sales team to drive ARR and pipeline generation. As NetApp continues its move to the cloud, you will be leading that initiative and executing our strategic cloud GTM motion.
As the Manager of the US Azure (Microsoft) Sales team at NetApp you will own our Azure business for both Global & Enterprise for the US OU’s. You will manage direct reports that represent a substantial portion of our overall Azure business. The Azure Sales team is a specialist team that aligned with both the NetApp field sales team as well as the Microsoft Azure sales team. As the leader of the Azure Sales team, you will be responsible for recruiting top talent and managing your team to drive Azure ARR and pipeline generation. You will also be responsible for forecasting, pipeline management, sales enablement and developing and delivering GTM strategies. Your team aligns to both the NetApp field and the Azure Sales team at Microsoft, so it is critical that you establish executive relationships with both those cohorts.
Job Requirements
• Ability to motivate and lead a team of Azure Specialists
• Ability to embrace and manage change…the NetApp cloud team is a rapidly changing environment and to be able to thrive in that constant change is critical
• Ability to solve problems on your own and make strategic decisions
• Ability to recruit and maintain top talent for your team
• Must have command of the data in your business. PG and ARR are the two most critical data points. Pipeline management is also very important
• Must have command of our GTM motion between NetApp field and Microsoft STU
• Motor over rolodex…all day long
• Broad understanding/experience to sell PaaS (platform as a service) and SaaS (software as a service) cloud services, how to create and execute against a Go-To-Market Strategy for consumption-based services.
• Evangelization is key: ability to enlighten, motivate, sell, present, and convince your team, all stakeholders.
• Strong EQ, analytical and organizational skills.
• Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is 350,000 – 375,000 and will be determined by the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
