About the Opportunity:

Shutterstock is looking for an experienced Sales Director to run our Growth & Essential Account team across Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. The role will be based in regional headquarters in Singapore, reporting to the Senior Director of APAC Sales.

The primary objectives of the Shutterstock Sales Director are to achieve revenue targets, drive customer satisfaction, grow market share, expand and grow the adoption of Shutterstock’s entire portfolio of content and products, and to build and lead a high performing sales team to help customers understand and realize the full potential of the Shutterstock collection and products.

The Day to Day:

  • Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
  • Manage a team of Client Partners and Customer Success Managers to delegate efficiently to drive the best possible strategy and processes for the customer portfolio.
  • Manage the enterprise pipeline and ensure that the team has a sufficient pipeline to exceed revenue targets across all products (images, footage, music, editorial, products)
  • Build a new business acquisition strategy for the markets liaising with relevant cross functional teams.
  • Holistic ownership of the Growth & Essential team, across all  verticals – Corporate, Agency and Media –  in their region
  • Through training and setting up clear processes and guidelines ensuring that the right solutions are pitched to all clients at the right time
  • Mentor and develop skill sets and strategic thinking via coaching on account development and new business acquisition.
  • Build C-level relationships with various departments of key clients (Marketing, PR, Media, Brand, Procurement)
  • Be the external facing ambassador and brand advocate for Shutterstock across all verticals within our Growth & Essential tier of accounts in the region, regularly attend and represent our brand at industry events
  • Play an intricate role in the development of enterprise sales products & strategy based on long term customer needs, developing actionable annual plans and 3 year outlook.
  • Drive understanding of competitor strategies across enterprise sales landscape in region
  • Provide input on marketing and content strategies relevant to key customer segments
  • Act as an market expert within the organization for enterprise sales
  • Travel to markets (across SEA and AU) to engage customers as required

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • 10+ years of sales management experience preferably from a background in technology, creative agencies, media, marketing industries
  • Ability to analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential
  • Proven track record of successful sales exceeding goals and quotas
  • Proven track record of building sales team strategy
  • Experience selling enterprise level solutions to large organizations
  • History of gaining access to high-level decision makers controlling large budgets and must understand the unique needs of customers, different business models along with being willing and able to customize deals to present solutions.
  • Possesses a strong belief in and passion for Shutterstock’s market value and potential
  • Understanding of cultural nuances that come with managing an international team
  • Experience selling across APAC region
  • Strong communication skills; fluent English speaker and preferably one Southeast Asian regional language

The pay range for this position is below:

350,000 – 420,000 OTE for Singapore and this role is eligible for stock grants
