Location: Eastcoast, US
Experienced SAP Sales Executive to join NORAM SAP services business group department. The candidate will demonstrate critical thinking and be highly ambitious. The role will have responsibility for NORAM pipeline growth. Working across US and CANDA markets much of this role will be foundational to establishing the sales strategy, discipline, and go-to-market. The candidate will also provide feedback and recommendations on portfolio development as the candidate is expected to have a finger on the pulse of the direction of the market being one step ahead of our competition.
The candidate is expected to have an established reputation and deep network of customers and partners by which they are able to orchestrate insights through their network and use their influence to drive results in their favor.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in developing and Implementing the NORAM Sales Strategy to achieve Sales goals and targets
- Leveraging the breadth of SoftwareONE’s services capabilities and effective in cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the existing account base as well as new customers
- Grow profitable managed and professional services businesses from new and existing customers, which will lead to a growing contract book of long-term customer relationships
- Be an active contributor to and advocate of SoftwareONE’s managed services strategy, as well as, its implementation and communication across the wider business.
- Drive a modern approach to selling managed services, customer engagement, and customer success
- Play an active role in personally nurturing and developing large/key customers and enabling the business to grow and capture market share
- Be a thought leader and role model in how to effectively sell managed services and enable customers to transition to managed services contracts
- Land and drive successful transformational change in NORAM sales strategy
- Provide regular accurate forecasts and business updates to Sales Director/Country Leader
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of our core services and encourage active participation in Sales Training sessions across the business and active use of the Fuse Training Platform
- Align and collaborate with the support areas to drive a successful customer experience
- Report on sales performance to executive level and provide forecast performance
- Develop and maintain sales collaterals and battle cards to enable sales play
Organizational Alignment
- Reports to the Regional Vice President of Sales
- Enlists the support of pre sales, delivery resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
- Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management.
- This position may have direct report staff assigned to support responsibilities in specific customers.

- Proven track record in SAP solution sales or business development.
- Strong knowledge of SAP products, services, and industry-specific applications.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Success Criteria
- Client portfolio revenue & profit
- Client portfolio new business sold (cross sell, up-sell, new).
- Healthy pipeline and client stakeholder map in CRM
- Agreed key client initiatives (project wins, offering sold, workshops etc.)
- Business development quality (Pre-sales, Sales, offerings development etc.)
- Contribution to agreed Regional & Global activities
